The Fargo HDP5000e Dual-Side Printing Module is a high-performance, field-upgradeable enhancement designed to enable automatic duplex printing on the Fargo HDP5000e retransfer printer. By integrating this module, organizations can efficiently personalize both sides of an ID card in a single pass—saving time and ensuring alignment accuracy between front and back prints.
With streamlined installation and reinforced electronics, this dual-sided module minimizes misfeeds and mechanical complications, enabling uninterrupted batch production. It is ideally suited for applications requiring high-security credentials such as government IDs, student cards, corporate access badges, and healthcare credentials.
Module Function: Adds dual-side (flipper) capability to the HDP5000e printer for automated duplex card printing
Compatibility: Exclusively compatible with HID Fargo HDP5000e printers (not compatible with HDP5000 or HDP5600 models)
Card Types Supported:
- CR-80 (3.375” x 2.125”) cards
- Card thickness: 30–50 mil
- Materials: PVC/PET composite, PETG, polycarbonate (PVC not recommended for laminated output)

- YMCKK (full color front + black back): 52 seconds per card / up to 69 cards per hour
Print Speed with Dual-Side Printing (Performance Mode):
- YMCKK: 38 seconds per card / up to 93 cards per hour
